July 26 – Downers Grove

A totally awesome concert- very tight band, strong vocalists, well arranged medleys, very good pacing. I so enjoyed the entire evening. The band played straight through a 2 hour concert- amazing since some of the tunes were vocally challenging (entire tune in head voice register-Michael Jackson songs).

Thank you John and the entire Band for such a fabulous performance. Our guests cannot stop talking about how BFTP completed our Wedding as an Event on the big stage. The staff at the Genesee was quite impressed as well. We have some fantastic pictures of you all on Stage that I will put together and send to you. Feel free to use them however you like. Everyoneamazing you all were. A special mention also to your keyboard player who many have commented was so fun to watch it was like watching the old Ray Charles in action & also for Caron’s Blues Brothers hat, sunglasses & dancing!

For us, it really was having your fantastically played music that made the night – it simply wouldn’t have been the same party without you! We were just sad we couldn’t just sit there and soak up all the music as we had to be all over the place with our guests!!

Is there anywhere else apart from Facebook that we can post a rave review as we would really like everyone else to know how great you guys are? It was so lovely & wonderful to meet you all and collectively you made our long held dreams come true.

I will admit that I was not really sure what to expect with a band this big but all my dreams came true. I had an audience ages 2-92 and a good time was had by all. Lots of dancing was going on too. I have not seen a group of talented musicians like this in forever! Truly magnificant. Brass from the Past had four different singers which made the show surprising and so exciting! I would definitely hire this group again.

After hearing Brass from the Past on Gigmasters, I was sold. When they arrived at our event they were nothing short of professional and their vocals were second to none. VERY GOOD band. The horn section was great! Very impressed with “Think” by Aretha and tunes from Chicago and Stevie Wonder. Just a great any event band!!! I would highly recommend.

Hello from Hong Kong!! We are still on Cloud 9 from Saturday night. Every person we have talked to since the wedding proclaims the band to be the best part of the night. You guys were such a hit!!! Thank you for accommodating all of our crazy requests and just killing it. We loved you – you made it a real party!My brother-in-law also said how nice and helpful you were with helping him set up his sound equipment for the ceremony.

We want to do all over again!

We are definitely going to come see you guys in October and already started recruiting some of the other wedding guests. Any chance you can share the video footage Jr. was filming during the dance? It’s gotta be awesome.
